2020 Auction is now closed
Over £88,00 raised – our most successful online auction to date!
With over 150 lots offering fishing days (and weeks) but which also included shooting days, tackle, works of art, photographic sessions; and with locations ranging from the Isle of Lewis to Devon, from Wales to Norfolk (and a couple in Iceland too!), from mountain streams, classic chalkstreams to lochs and lochans there really was something for everyone, whatever their level of skill.
This year has been one of unprecedented challenge for all of us; and yet demands for S&TC’s action and support – from chalkstream pollution in the south to the spread of open-cage salmon farming off Scotland’s north-west coast – have never been greater.
We have been delighted and humbled by the open-handed response from all our supporters. Donors were unstinting in giving – and bidders were equally enthusiastic when it came to bidding!
When the auction closed on Sunday 27th September at 8p.m., the total amount raised was £88,188.00 – a fantastic result.
Our warmest and most grateful thanks to everyone who participated to make this, our most important fund-raising event, our best ever.
